One day a little girl asked her father: “Daddy, how did the human race start?”
He answered: “Well, dear, God made Adam and Eve and they had children, and that’s how mankind was created.”
Two days later the little girl asked her mother the same question.
Her mother answered: “Many years ago there were monkeys and the human race evolved from them.”
The confused girl returned to her father and said: “Daddy, I don’t understand! You told me that humans  were created by God, but mommy said that they developed from monkeys?”
Her father answered: “Well, dear, it’s very simple: I told you about my side of the family and your mom told you about hers!”
